The Data Architect will work closely with Product Management and internal teams to
understand the data needs and then implement and maintain a high-quality data
infrastructure. This role requires expertise in data pipeline development, data modeling,
database management, and data analysis, with a focus on optimizing performance and
ensuring data governance and security.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities
\u2022 Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Program and Product Management
teams to gather business and data requirements.
\u2022 Coordinate with analysts, engineers, and consultants to design and implement a
Medallion architecture within an Azure Databricks Lakehouse.
\u2022 Utilize SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets. Develop data processing
scripts and automate tasks. Use Azure Databricks to transform and model data, ensuring high-quality pipelines.
\u2022 Design and maintain data models supporting business intelligence and analytics
across the firm. Create, test, and document scalable data models.
\u2022 Optimize database performance and ensure reliability. Implement indexing and query optimization best practices for efficient data retrieval.
\u2022 Work with data analysts and stakeholders to address data needs.
\u2022 Design and implement processes for data ingestion and transformation. Automate
workflows to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
\u2022 Implement policies to maintain data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor data usage and access controls to protect sensitive information.
\u2022 Monitor data pipelines and systems. Enhance data processing efficiency and speed.
\u2022 Document data solutions, pipelines, models, and analytics processes. Provide train-
ing and support to team members on data tools and best practices.
\u2022 Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies in data engineering and
analytics. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data capabilities.<\/p>\n
Qualifications
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a
related field.
\u2022 Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, including experience in
creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
\u2022 Experience with Databricks, including data engineering, transformation, and largescale data processing.
\u2022 Proficiency with SQL.
\u2022 Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings
into clear and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
\u2022 Experience supporting data needs across multiple departments and teams within an
organization.
\u2022 Strong attention to detail.
\u2022 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
\u2022 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
