Our main offices are located across Inishowen in Buncrana, Carndonagh and Moville. With the support of a Team, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the day-to-day financial control of the Credit Union, financial reporting and analysis; management of internal controls; compliance and regulatory returns; budgeting; asset, liability and investment management; and oversight of the credit control function.
Working closely with the CEO and the Board, you will help shape the Credit Union\u2019s strategic agenda and drive the business forward to achieve our ambitious growth targets. Qualifications & Experience\u00a0<\/strong>
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A professional accounting qualification is essential (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA is preferred).
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Industry experience in a Finance Management role, ideally in financial services.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Previous Credit Union or regulated financial services experience is a distinct advantage.<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Strong Excel skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to plan, forecast, budget, and oversee the implementation of financial strategies.
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Excellent report writing and presentation skills.<\/p>\n
