Job Description:<\/strong>\u00a0The Financial Statement and Audit Manager is responsible for leading and managing attest engagements, ensuring that audits, reviews and compilations are conducted efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards. This role involves overseeing attest teams, reviewing attest work and documentation, and providing strategic insights to enhance organizational controls and processes. He\/she will work closely with the Partners in charge and various staff assigned to the team.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong>
\u00a0Develop and implement audit plans and programs based on risk assessments and business objectives.
\u00a0Coordinate and oversee the execution of attest and audit engagements to assess financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with laws and regulations.
\u00a0Ensure audits and all engagements are conducted in accordance with professional standards.
\u00a0Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
\u00a0Assign audit tasks, manage workload, and ensure timely completion of audit engagements.
\u00a0Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
\u00a0Prepare and present audit findings, reports, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
\u00a0Communicate audit results effectively and facilitate discussions on corrective actions and improvements.
\u00a0Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
\u00a0Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of audit processes.
\u00a0Stay updated with changes in regulations, industry trends, and best practices in auditing.
\u00a0Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies and tools.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/strong>
\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. A Master\u2019s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA) is preferred.
\u00a0Minimum: 5 years of relevant experience in auditing with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
\u00a0Strong understanding of auditing principles, practices, and standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
\u00a0Proven experience in managing audit projects and teams
\u00a0Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
\u00a0Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings to senior management.
\u00a0Proficiency in Profx Engagement, Knowledge Coach and MS Office Suite preferred.<\/p>\n
