An opportunity has arisen within the TaxAssist Support Centre for an Administration Officer to join our friendly team based in Norwich on the Broadland Business Park.

Our TaxAssist Tax Consulting team provides expert and specialist tax services across our nationwide network of accountancy practices. The team enables our network of franchisees to deliver service excellence to corporate and personal tax client alike.
The role • To provide a professional and courteous telephone, email and online reception service and ensure details are accurately captured and processed in a timely and efficient manner. • Preparing, processing and recording client records to include engagement documents and files in accordance with GDPR regulations, statutory compliance requirements and anti-money laundering regulations. • Raising, issuing and follow up invoicing • Monitoring and updating the task management system and coordinating progress with colleagues. • Collating and inputting management information including assisting with the client billing function. • Arranging and preparing appointments and meetings both internal and external • Creating template reports and populating with information from fact finds. • Building a professional rapport with franchisees, clients as well as our support centre team and our network . • Any other reasonable tasks to support the Tax Consulting Team or other Support Centre Teams.
The Candidate You must be able to work independently with appropriate support. You will be confident in engaging with franchisees and clients to build a rapport and offer solutions and direction. You must be able to concurrently manage a number of cases for franchisees and clients.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Skills • Familiar with BrightManager or other CMS system. IT literature and able to support the team with software and procedure enquiries • Minimum of 1 year recent administrative experience in a professional services industry • GCSE (minimum Grade 5) in English Language and Maths • Proficiency in windows based software – we use Outlook365 • Strong organisational skills and time management skills to ensure effective workload prioritisation • Excellent attention to detail to ensure a high level of accuracy is achieved • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and active listening skills • Able to work remotely and to work well within a team
Desirable Skills • Experience in a similar role • Some Tax knowledge or experience preferred • NVQ (Level 2 or higher) in Business Administration or relevant subject
