Trainee Account Executive

Banks and Insurance Jobs is looking for a Trainee Account Executive to join our clients team!

Overview of role

At our company, the next generation of marketing and service technology for German SMEs is being developed by combining AI, automation and user-centered design. To further scale its strong growth, the company offers a Commercial Graduate Program as a structured entry into B2B SaaS sales, specifically preparing graduates for a career in sales. Participants benefit from clear development steps with automatic level-ups including salary increases upon achieving goals every six months, as well as a quick prospect of becoming an Account Executive after about a year, and even after six months if successful. In addition, there is an intensive buddy program in a motivated team, close insights through executive shadowing with CEO and Head of Sales, regular training and coaching via an internal sales academy, and a diverse learning environment through contact with companies from a wide variety of industries.

Core tasks

You start in outbound sales, reach out to potential customers, and qualify leads for our account executive team.
Here you analyze leads, conduct initial conversations, and understand the challenges and needs of our target audience.
You use HubSpot securely and control your pipeline management in a data-driven manner.
You develop new outreach strategies, test growth tactics, and share your learning as a team.
You work closely with the founder and Head of Sales and actively contribute to the further development of our sales process.
As a Junior Account Executive, you conduct compelling product demos and consulting sessions with qualified and self-generated leads.

Requirements

You have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Ideally, you should bring initial professional experience in the form of internships in start-ups, sales, or other customer-facing roles.
You have a high interest in sales and go-to-market topics and enjoy daily exchanges with customers.
You enjoy working in a team and bring strong communication skills.
You learn quickly and bring a start-up mindset with – enthusiastic, self-motivated and hands-on.
You have a positive attitude and don’t let setbacks get you down.
You have German language skills at a native speaker level.
You are currently in the final stages of your studies or have recently completed them.
