Banks and Insurance Jobs is looking for an Accountant/ Finanzbuchhalter (m/w/d) to join our client’s team!

Overview of role

You have a knack for numbers, stay calm when things get tricky, and love it when everything is in order? Then you will feel comfortable with us! In your role as an accountant (m/f/d), you take a central role in our accounting and ensure that all payments and bookings are carried out cleanly and correctly.

Core tasks

Accounts payable and receivable: Processing of incoming and outgoing invoices in the ERP system with associated audit and accounting of invoices.
Payments & Evaluations: Prepare weekly payment runs, reminder runs, conduct business evaluations and perform account reconciliations.
Monthly financial statements & compliance – You support the implementation of monthly financial statements in close coordination with controlling.
Liquidity planning
VAT advance
Internal contact person: As an internal contact person, you are responsible for commercial matters in the area of accounting.
Expenses, Travel & Credit Cards: Processing and posting expenses, travel expenses and credit card statements.
Master data maintenance: Maintenance of master data.
Financial Compliance – You will assist with the monthly accounting compliance audit.
In the case of representation: writing initial invoices and dunning.

Must have requirements

Professionally fit: You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with a focus on accounting – and at least 3 – 5 years of professional experience in the field of accounting under your belt.
IT-savvy: With MS Office, especially Excel, you’ll feel secure. If you’ve already worked with Diamond, all the better!
Accounting experience: You are familiar with the HGB and ideally already have experience working with subsidiaries and intercompany voting.
