System Engineer Linux (m/w/d)

Banks and Insurance Jobs is looking for a System Engineer Linux (m/w/d) to join our client’s team!

Requirements
▪ Successfully completed technical or scientific studies or IT training
▪ 3 years of professional experience in Linux system administration
Safe handling of the command line and the Linux operating system (CentOS, RHEL and Debian)
▪ Very good knowledge of MySQL databases and in the configuration of replications and clusters
▪ Sound know-how of common open source software such as Apache/Nginx, Varnish, Tomcat/Wildfly, Postfix and Dovecot
▪ Experience with automation systems such as Puppet and Ansible
▪ Experience in virtualization with, for example, KVM or RHEV/oVirt and containers
▪ Basic understanding of programming languages (PHP, Python, Java) and shell scripting
▪ Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (C1 level) are important
▪ Class B driving license

Tasks & Responsibilities
▪ Advises and supports our customers in operating sophisticated, Linux-based server landscapes
▪ As the main person responsible for managing complex hosting platforms, keep track
▪ Speak the language of customers and create concepts that fit their business needs
▪ Continuously commit to improving quality and performance and find solid technical solutions
▪ Solve problem cases directly or coordinate their processing with your team
▪ Share your knowledge with your colleagues and exchange ideas with experienced IT professionals across teams
▪ Document your installations and configurations cleanly and expect the same transparency within the team
