Banks and Insurance Jobs is looking for a Head of Sales to join our client’s team!

Requirements
▪ At least 5 years of professional experience in B2B sales, including several years in a senior sales role
▪ Demonstrable experience in building and scaling sales structures and teams (hands-on, “build” mentality)
▪ Experience with complex products that require explanation and longer sales cycles at the decision-making level
▪ Strong understanding of KPI-based sales management (pipeline, forecast, conversion, revenue)
▪ Industry or domain experience in at least one environment: Energy, Real Estate, PropTech or B2B SaaS
▪ Strong interest in sustainability, energy efficiency and impact issues in the real estate environment (e.g. B. CO₂ reduction, energy data, decarbonization)
▪ Confident appearance in client meetings and external representation (including presentations/presentation situations)
▪ Very good CRM competence (e.g. B. HubSpot or comparable) as well as secure handling of sales reporting & forecasting
▪ German is safe to negotiate (C1), English at least B2–C1
▪ Travel readiness of approximately 20–30% within the DACH region
▪ Entrepreneurial thinking, ownership, structured communication and solution-oriented working methods
▪ University degree desirable or a comparable qualification proven by practice

Tasks & Responsibilities
▪ Structure and scaling of the entire B2B sales organization including structures, processes and team
▪ Development and implementation of a clear go-to-market strategy (target segments, positioning, pricing, partner strategy)
▪ Control of the entire sales funnel from lead generation to completion – including KPI-based pipeline and forecast responsibility
▪ Acquisition of new customers in the DACH region (especially real estate portfolios, medium-sized portfolio holders, commercial properties)
▪ Establishment and development of a partner network (e.g. B. Solar engineers/installation partners, measuring point operators, municipal utilities, facility management)
▪ Implementation of complex, consulting-intensive sales processes at decision-making level including presentations, demos and negotiations
▪ Leadership, coaching and further development of a growing sales team (short-term development of 3–4 team members)
▪ Representation of the company at customer meetings, events, specialist lectures and webinars
▪ Systematically gathering customer and market feedback and close coordination with product, marketing and operations to further develop the offering
▪ Positioning white energy as a relevant driver of the energy transition in the real estate sector – with a focus on measurable sustainability impact (CO₂ transparency, energy efficiency, optimized energy flows, tenant electricity models)
▪ Competitive analysis and derivation of lines of argument and USPs for sales and marketing
