CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between development and business stakeholders within the Bank, ensuring alignment of technology solutions with business objectives through agile product ownership, business analysis and low code development using Mendix.

MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:
Agile Product Ownership
Product Backlog Management:
• Manages and prioritizes the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Defines and elaborates user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Ensures continuous delivery of value through iterative development and frequent releases.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Engages with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into product development.
• Balances competing priorities and negotiates trade-offs to maximize product value.
• Facilitates product demos and sprint reviews to showcase progress and gather input.
• Provides system support to business and end users (internal and external).
• Conduct demos to business when new releases are available.
Supports Testing and Implementation:
• Collaborates with QA teams to develop test cases and validate solutions.
• Assists with user acceptance testing and ensures solution meet business requirements.
• Supports the implementation and deployment of IT solutions, providing user training as needed.

Business Analysis
Analyzes Business Requirements
• Elicits, documents, and analyzes business requirements for projects.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to prioritize requirements based on business needs.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and design applications that streamline business processes and enhance productivity
• Continuously explores new features and capabilities to drive further innovation and improvement in application development.

Develops Functional Specifications
• Translates business requirements into clear and comprehensive requirements specifications, form and format to be best decided by the analyst.
• Facilitates communication between business users and technical teams to address any discrepancies.

Facilitates Stakeholder Communication
• Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and Development.
• Communicates project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Facilitates workshops and meetings to gather requirements and resolve conflicts.
Performs Data Analysis
• Conducts data analysis to support business decision-making processes.
• Identifies trends, patterns, and insights to inform strategic initiatives.
• Develops reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• 4-5 years of experience in business analysis within the banking industry.
• Experience with project management and software development methodologies.

KNOWLEDGE
• In-depth understanding of banking industry processes and regulations.
• Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and techniques.
• Familiarity with IT systems and software development lifecycle.
• Mendix
