JOB SUMMARY
The PHP Developer serves as the primary developer responsible for maintaining and enhancing
Laravel-based applications, managing WordPress environments, and supporting broader technical
needs across the organization. The position combines backend development with DevOps support,
system automation, and secondary scripting in Python. The ideal candidate will work across multiple
platforms, improving system performance, enabling reliable deployments, and contributing to
internal tooling and infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical role requiring versatility, autonomy,
and a strong foundation in PHP/Laravel.
JOB DUTIES:
• Serve as the primary developer for Laravel applications, including maintenance,
troubleshooting, performance optimization, and feature enhancements.
• Maintain and support WordPress sites, including plugin updates, theme customization, and
security improvements.
• Perform DevOps tasks such as deployments, monitoring, system maintenance, and
performance optimization.
• Write and debug Python scripts to support automation, internal tooling, and backend
workflows.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, efficient, and scalable code across all
platforms.
• Collaborate with team members, provide technical support, and contribute to planning and
architectural discussions.
• Streamline workflows through automation and infrastructure improvements to enhance
reliability and operational efficiency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS /QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel, particularly in backend development and
application maintenance.
• Proven experience managing and customizing WordPress sites, themes, and plugins.
• Proficiency with Python for scripting, data workflows, and backend support.
• Familiarity with DevOps processes including monitoring, deployment pipelines, automation,
and performance tuning.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize across multiple
platforms and frameworks.
• Ability to manage diverse technical responsibilities and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to support cross-functional teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms, particularly AWS.
• Understanding of data privacy and security best practices within web environments (Laravel,
WordPress).
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau Online.
• Experience with DBT and SQL to support advanced data workflows (preferred but not
required).
