The Data Architect will work closely with Product Management and internal teams to
understand the data needs and then implement and maintain a high-quality data
infrastructure. This role requires expertise in data pipeline development, data modeling,
database management, and data analysis, with a focus on optimizing performance and
ensuring data governance and security.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the Program and Product Management
teams to gather business and data requirements.
• Coordinate with analysts, engineers, and consultants to design and implement a
Medallion architecture within an Azure Databricks Lakehouse.
• Utilize SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets. Develop data processing
scripts and automate tasks. Use Azure Databricks to transform and model data, ensuring high-quality pipelines.
• Design and maintain data models supporting business intelligence and analytics
across the firm. Create, test, and document scalable data models.
• Optimize database performance and ensure reliability. Implement indexing and query optimization best practices for efficient data retrieval.
• Work with data analysts and stakeholders to address data needs.
• Design and implement processes for data ingestion and transformation. Automate
workflows to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
• Implement policies to maintain data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor data usage and access controls to protect sensitive information.
• Monitor data pipelines and systems. Enhance data processing efficiency and speed.
• Document data solutions, pipelines, models, and analytics processes. Provide train-
ing and support to team members on data tools and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies in data engineering and
analytics. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data capabilities.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a
related field.
• Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, including experience in
creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Experience with Databricks, including data engineering, transformation, and largescale data processing.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings
into clear and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting data needs across multiple departments and teams within an
organization.
• Strong attention to detail.
