The DevOps Engineer will ensure that the tools supporting our Agile development processes
operate effectively for our application development teams. You will support the entire
Technology organization by providing the tools and platforms necessary for Agile planning
and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
Responsibilities
• Configure, support, and optimize cloud-based tools (currently Azure) to drive application development efficiencies and enhance the operational stability of the tools.
• Identify manual processes that can be automated and develop solutions to increase
automation across development workflows, security, audit systems, and compliance. Ensure that tools and processes are continually optimized to improve productivity and reduce operational overhead.
• Create, maintain, and improve the company’s cloud infrastructure, including Azure
Pipelines and Terraform, ensuring that it remains secure, scalable, and aligned with
best practices.
• Monitor system availability and performance. Resolve alerts and incidents quickly,
performing root cause analysis and ensuring continuous improvement. Proactively
address potential issues before they affect operations.
• Provide support by participating in on-call duties and working flexible off-hours for
planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with tools like GitHub, DevOps, and Terraform, or equivalent.
• Expertise in identifying manual processes that can be automated and developing solutions using tools like Terraform, or custom scripts.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as Azure, with a strong understanding of how to maintain and optimize cloud services.
