Hours:
8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Mon – Thur.
8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Friday
Two Saturdays a month 8:30 am – 12:00 pm
Job Duties:
- Provide quality customer service, maintain a positive attitude and provide team support.
- Act as the receptionist/secretary.
- Open new accounts
- Open and redeem safe deposit box contracts.
- Sell and redeem CDs.
- Take credit applications related to Consumer lending.
- Type loan forms (credit applications).
- Review Credit Applications.
- Pull and review credit reports.
- Fund, close and book loans.
- Assist with bookkeeping questions, and help as needed to serve our customers as efficiently as possible.
- Take incoming and outgoing wires.
- Prepare monthly bank statements.
- Issue pulse/check cards.
- Work closely with Manager/Supervisor on problem situations.
Requirements:
A high school diploma is required, some college is preferred and a minimum of 3-5 years of general banking experience. Teller, new accounts, CDs and general operations experience is helpful. Typing skills of 45-50 wpm, 10-key by touch, PC literacy, and general clerical/secretarial skills are required. The ability to work and communicate well with customers and fellow employees, both oral and written is imperative, as is a strong marketing/sales orientation. Must be neat in appearance and be able to work a flexible schedule.
