Tax Manager

We are looking for an organized manager who can produce high-quality work while maintaining strong relationships with our current clients. The ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions and take the initiative while staying focused on results and the performance objectives of this job is a must. Staff development skills and the ability to lead a team of professionals by example while also possessing solid time management skills are important as well.

Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

CPA (preferred)
Master in Taxation (preferred)
5+ years of public accounting experience in income tax preparation for individuals, partnerships/LLCs, S Corporations, C Corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations with a minimum of 5 years at the tax manager level
Comprehensive understanding of income tax laws
Income tax research experience and skills
Ability to manage client engagements from start to finish
Strong training & mentoring abilities
A proactive and responsive individual
Strong leadership skills
Strong management skills, able to lead a team
Excellent interpersonal skills
Willingness to work > 40 hours per week during tax season
Ability to supervise and train professional staff
Ability to work in the U.S.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Pay: $95,000 – $130,000 per year (USD)
*The posted pay range reflects the base salary for positions in states that require pay transparency. Pay may vary based on geographic location, experience, and other factors.

License/Certification: CPA (preferred)

Experience:

5 + years of tax experience in a public accounting firm
Previous tax manager experience is a plus
CPA a plus
