Position Description: It is a mid-level position based at Desh General Insurance Company Limited’s Branch Office located in anywhere in Bangladesh. We are looking for our Claim and Re-insurance department as “Manager”.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Scrutinize the insurance policies, risk segregation, Facultative Risk offering and ensure adequate reinsurance arrangement to Increase stability & Security.

Prepare Fire, Marine Cargo & Miscellaneous quarterly Bordereaux for Sadharan Bima Corporation (SBC).

Prepare Fire, Motor, and Marine & Misc. Facultative Slip.

Prepare all classes of Accounts quarterly for Local reinsurer.

Prepare intimation for all classes of business SBC for.
-
Keep all records and store them as per reinsurance department needs.

Draft all kinds of corresponding letters for SBC.

Handling reinsurance correspondence.
-
Raising credits and debit notes on facultative reinsurance inward and outward.
-
Sending of renewal notice to reinsurers.
-
Preparation of claims paid statement.
-
Preparation of outstanding claims report.
-
Maintaining a comprehensive reinsurance register.

Legal and regulatory framework of Insurance business.

General Insurance principles and practice.
-
Underwriting management and claims processing.
-
Risks improvement and control.
-
Any other duty assigned by the Management.
Education
-
Bachelor/Master Degree in Commerce.

Professional /Certificate Course completed on Non-life Insurance will be given preference.
Experience
- At least 6 years
Additional Requirements
- Age 35 to 50 years

Computer literacy: Ms Office (Ms-Word, MS-Excel, Ms-Power point etc.), Internet, Email and Insurance software.

Experience should be in similar kind of job.
