An opportunity has arisen within the TaxAssist Support Centre for a Marketing Executive to join our expanding team based in Norwich on the Broadland Business Park.

The Company TaxAssist are a multi award winning training, marketing, support and services business and is the franchisor for the ‘TaxAssist Accountants’ tax, accounting and complementary services brand.

Our Support Centre team provides expert specialist and technical support across our nationwide network of accountancy practices.

The role This exciting role focuses on raising awareness of our services and advice to the small business market. No accounting or tax knowledge will be required. Our marketing teams bring a friendly and welcoming face to the accountancy industry and our clients love that side to our brand.

  • Working with the Communications Manager and the Marketing Team to support the development and delivery of the social media strategy, to increase engagement across TaxAssist social media accounts.
  • Be responsible for the management and implementation of social media management platform.
  • Manage and post regular content on the TaxAssist National and franchisee social media accounts, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X.
  • Make recommendations for content to support the social strategy and draft social media copy and suggest appropriate imagery/artwork, for approval by the Communications Manager.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to create artwork for social media templates using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
  • Provide monthly analytics on social media performance and share with Communications Manager and Group Marketing Manager.
  • Provide social media and marketing training to franchisees, the network, international teams and support centre staff.
  • Provide support to the Communications Manager and Business Development Team with ad hoc projects and meet deadlines.

The Candidate We are seeking a highly motivated social media professional who is keen to be a part of our growing team. Full training, guidance and support will be provided to help understand the role and the business.

You must be able to work independently with appropriate support. You will be confident in engaging with franchisees and clients to build a rapport and offer solutions and direction.

Both junior and experienced candidates will be considered for this role (as reflected in the salary band). Candidates should possess some or all the following experience:

  • A minimum of one years’ experience in a social media or marketing role is required.
  • Experience in creating content and managing multiple social media accounts, ideally using a social media management platform.
  • Knowledge and insight around the latest developments in social media and a willingness to share this to train others and aid business development.
  • Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva to produce artwork is desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience in creating and editing video content
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in offering advice and recommendations on social media marketing to help business growth and help non-marketing people execute marketing activity with your support is desirable but not essential.
  • The ability to deliver training to groups and on a one-to-one basis is desirable but not essential.
  • An ability to work well as part of a team and to manage own workload effectively according to priorities and deadlines.
