A vacancy has arisen for a full-time Member Services Officer in our Credit Union
Dunboyne & District Credit Union are inviting applications for a full-time Member Services Officer to join our teams in our branches in Dunboyne & Ratoath. The successful candidate will be required to work in both offices, so own transport is essential.
Summary of Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of operational and administrative activities that contribute to the effective running of the credit union.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing quality services to the members on a day-to-day basis at the counter.
- Accurately and diligently handling cash and reconciling daily balances.
- Dealing with direct debit mandates as per member instructions
- Explaining products and services to members
- Ensuring member information on file is accurate and up to date
- Working at all times in a courteous, friendly and professional manner, preserving confidentiality and adhering strictly to all policies and procedures of the Credit Union
- Completing other duties as required by management
Ideal Requirements:
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in a credit union/ retail financial services environment would be a distinct advantage
- Excellent IT skills
- Experience of the Progress Banking System would be a distinct advantage
