Role Summary:
Duties will include providing a quality teller service to members, dealing with member queries, processing transactions, back-office administration/clerical duties and other duties as required.
Duties to include:
- Processing lodgments/withdrawals
- Processing loan applications
- Assessing loans within designated lending limits
- Issuing of loans
- Dealing with member queries
- New member applications
- Foreign currency transactions
- Post point transactions
- Scanning/Filing
- End of day balancing
- Comply with all policies and procedures, including legislative and regulatory requirements
- Any other tasks as assigned by CEO/Assistant Manager
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A QFA, CUA or similar financial qualification is a distinct advantage
- An ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent numerical skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work on own initiative
- An ability to be flexible
- Experience working with Progress Banking Systems an advantage
- Willing to take up further training and qualification.
- Proficient IT and keyboard skills
This is a permanent contract subject to a 6-month probationary period (36.5hrs per week) and salary will be based on relevant qualifications and experience.
