Heartland Credit Union Ltd is a credit union comprising of three offices (Annaduff, Carrick on Shannon & Mohill) based in Co. Leitrim offering a wide range of financial services to its’ members.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate already in or looking to move into the financial services industry. The successful candidate will be working for a busy credit union offering a range of diverse quality financial services. The successful candidate will be required to have completed or be in the process of completing APA/ QFA exams.
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective running of the credit union, including;
- Dealing with members in a courteous, pleasant and professional manner, in the delivery of a high standard of quality services
- Back-office administration
- Processing loan applications within an agreed approval limit
- Processing bulk transactions
- Any other functions required by management
Skills Required:
The successful candidates will have:
- Excellent literacy and numerical ability
- APA/QFA advantageous
- Excellent PC & Keyboard skills including a strong working knowledge of MS Office
- Previous Lending experience advantageous
- Flexible in their role
- Have ability to work as part of a team while at the same time demonstrating initiative
- Have strong communication skills and experience of dealing with the public
- Be motivated with the ability to work to deadlines and targets
- Be able to prioritise tasks under pressure
No. of hours per week: 32.5 approx
