Job Duties:
- Provide quality customer service and work toward the generation, promotion and maintenance of a quality work environment for the staff of Amarillo National Bank.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide team support.
- Assist Merchant Coordinator with current and potential credit card customers.
- Ensure merchant applications are processed completely and in a timely manner. In the absence of the Merchant Coordinator assist in all new set ups & any programming changes.
- Troubleshoot merchant terminal problems.
- Handle customer service over the phone and in person.
- Ensure daily work flow is handled professionally and in a timely manner, and ensure that all paperwork has been completed.
- Maintain merchant files, chargebacks, and all merchant processing.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of Credit Cards and Electronic Banking.
- Assist Merchant Coordinator in processing Personal and Corporate Credit Card applications.
- Be able to service customer base after regular bank hours on occasion.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years of Operational experience. Must have a working knowledge of Credit Cards and Automated Teller Machines areas. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of bank management. Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented. Maintaining customer service as first priority and number one objective. Ability to work independently. Must have working knowledge of Personal Computer, typing 45 WPM, and 10 key by touch.
