About the role
Seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Advisor to handle high-value and complex mortgage files while providing mentorship to our growing team. This role requires deep expertise across residential, commercial, and investment property financing. You will be the go-to expert for difficult scenarios including self-employed clients, new immigrants, and alternative lending solutions. In addition to managing your own client portfolio, you will help train and support junior advisors, review complex applications, and contribute to our business development strategy.
What we’re looking for
•5+ years of mortgage industry experience
•Proven track record with complex mortgage files
•AMP designation or equivalent certification
•Strong knowledge of A, B, and private lending
•Leadership and mentoring capabilities
•Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
What you’ll do
•Manage high-value and complex mortgage transactions
•Mentor and train junior mortgage agents
•Review and provide guidance on challenging applications
•Build strategic relationships with lenders and partners
•Contribute to business development initiatives
•Stay expert-level current on industry regulations
