Prime Islami Life Insurance Limited, a prestigious and fully Shariah based listed Life Insurance Company in private sector has the following vacancy. The person who fulfills the criteria as mentioned for the post may apply with full confidence.

The position is responsible for Shariah Auditing, Reporting & Advising, working with Shariah Supervisory Council & Reporting to respective bodies, complying with Shariah issues in all operation of Islamic life insurance business, assisting Shariah Council Secretariat, arranging & managing Trainings and Internal Office Management regarding Islamic Shariah.

Job Description:

  • Responsible to prepare Shariah Report including necessary memos and notes.

  • Assisting in day-to-day operations of Sharia Department to solving problems thus the Shariah objection may be reduced at early stage.

  • Responsible to prepare yearly Audit plan and perform Shariah Audit of the branches and required departments, if necessary.

  • Responsible to ensure that all of the Shariah Council’s decisions are implemented by the company.

  • Establish Shariah principles in Takaful, to facilitate a dynamic mechanism of Shariah governance and business transactions of Prime Islami Life Insurance Limited.

  • Responsible to operate Prime Islami Life Insurance Limited as per company’s ideology and principle of Shariah.

  • Developing and maintaining library in the head office and regional offices.

  • To make Shariah related research and publishing article & books.

  • To endorse and validate relevant documents such as the proposal forms, contract, legal documentations, product manuals, advertisements as well as brochures as and when needed.

  • To advise and provide assistance to the related parties of the company such as its legal counsel, auditor or consultant on Shariah matters upon request.

Education

  • Kamil/ Dawrah/ Efta/M.A. in Islamic Studies/ Arabic. Certificate before 08th October 2018 is not considerable for Dawrah/ Efta.

  • No 3rd Division is allowed.

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 40 years
  • Applicants who are experienced in the relevant fields will be preferable.

  • Good Knowledge about MS Office, Power Point, Photoshop, Video Editing etc.

  • Must be proficient in managing Zoom Meeting.

  • Should have proficiency in Bengali, English & Arabic typing.
