About the role

As a Credit Management Administration Officer, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Credit Management Officer, contributing to the effective management of our credit portfolio. The role assists in maintaining accurate records, proactively monitoring arrears, and supporting early-stage collections processes to ensure strong asset quality and compliance. You will assist with the administration of hardship applications, including gathering supporting documents and preparing files for assessment while also providing empathetic, member-focused support to individuals experiencing financial difficulty in line with our policy and regulatory obligations.

Working directly with our wonderful Members, you will play a crucial role in Police Credit Union’s overall success to proudly provide a customer experience that is second to none. We know that work/life balance is important, so this is a part-time position for three days a week spanning across Monday-Friday between 8.30am to 5pm – the exact roster is open to be negotiated with the successful candidate however your availability to work every Thursday will be ideal. 

About you
You are…

Looking for a refreshing change and wanting to build on your current experience in banking, lending operations, credit administration or early-stage collections 
Passionate about customer service with a non-judgemental, empathetic and professional communication style
Proactive, well organised and focused, with an eye for detail and a strong ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with Members and colleagues
Able to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive financial information with discretion
A team player, wanting to be part of an energetic group
Ambitious and ready to grasp career development opportunities – we like to promote within whenever we can
Confident, disciplined and hardworking, you strive to meet and exceed service and sales KPIs, all with a smile on your face. 
If you have a background in the Australian financial services or insurance sectors – even better! FSRA Tier 2 and/or NCCPA Lending accreditation is a huge tick, however not a deal breaker, as on the job training is provided.
