About the role
As our Team Leader Insurance, you will lead a small yet passionate team of 6 to ensure exceptional standards of service to our Members and help deliver a customer experience that is second to none. The successful applicant will be an experienced leader, who enjoys training, coaching and developing your team to achieve sales targets and maximise opportunities, by meeting the needs of our members and providing a personalised and tailored approach. You will utilise your leadership qualities to build an effective, cohesive and goal-oriented Contact Centre team. You’ll ideally come from a sales and/or modern contact centre environment in the financial service industry and have well developed dispute resolution capabilities and excellent communication skills. About you
You are:
Passionate about leadership
Ideally well experienced in a call centre environment with strong sales abilities and experience in needs-based selling and webchat services
Experienced in leading a motivated and engaged team
Driven to provide an exceptional customer experience, supporting your team to do the same
Innovative and always thinking about smarter ways of working and able to lead your team through change successfully
Collaborative and self-aware, with a ‘can-do’ approach
Focused, with an eye for detail and a strong ability to build positive relationships with colleagues
A team player, wanting to be part of an energetic group
Ambitious and ready to grasp career development opportunities – we like to promote from within whenever we can
Confident, disciplined and hardworking, you strive to meet and exceed service KPIs, all with a smile on your face
A strong communicator with excellent rapport building and complaint resolution skills
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn new systems and processes
Previous leadership experience will be highly regarded and while FSRA Tier 2 accreditation and experience working with banking and insurance products or webchat services will be viewed favourably, they are not essential as training on our products will be provided.
