This role is perfect for you if you are:
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, preferably pursuing a degree in Tax, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Your Background:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is essential. Strong Excel skills for data entry and basic organization are a plus.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proactive and willing to take initiative within assigned duties.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
What You’ll Do:
- An experienced CPA with 5+ years of US tax compliance and planning expertise, with both large and small businesses and a strong background in high-net-worth individual returns, including multi-state filings
- Able to assist the Tax Director with return reviews and client tax-planning sessions
- A QBO Proadvisor with experience and comfortability with integrating interfaces
- Comfortable in one-on-one interactions with CEOs/owners and can manage difficult client situations
- A quick learner and a self-starter
- Someone who thrives in a work-from-anywhere environment
- Excellent at time management and have phenomenal organizational skills
