Ballina Credit Union was founded in 1968, and we have been serving our members in a professional and efficient manner ever since. Ballina Credit union currently has an asset value of over €100m and boasts a membership in excess of 17,000 accounts.

We are recruiting a team leader who will manage our front office team and daily operations delivering best in class service to our members.

Reporting To:  Operations Manager

Tuesday – Saturday

Main Duties / Responsibilities  
  • Management and co-ordination of the Front Office team who provide face to face and telephone services to our members.
  • Management of cash floats and daily cash balancing
  • Provision of training and support to the Front Office team
  • Operate within the Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements
  • Review and updating of processes, procedures and processes as required.
  • Monitoring of the Credit Union portfolio, processing payments and creation of reports
  • Counter services including foreign exchange and membership processing
  • Report to Management on operational activities
  • Accepts and resolves queries from colleagues and members or escalating to Management where necessary
  • Completes other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will have:
  • Experience working in a financial services environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • QFA qualification (desirable)
