Primary Job Function: To assist our members with all financial transactions including but not limited to: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and account openings.
Employee will be based out of the Queens/Brooklyn area but will need to travel daily to different branches in Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island and Yonkers.
Position Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license along with a reliable car is required
- Ability to adapt to various locations
- Teller experience and/or customer service experience that includes heavy cash handling
- Effective interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a high volume customer service environment
- Familiarity in the use of a PC and a working knowledge of MS word and excel
- High school graduate or equivalent
Responsibilities Include:
- Traveling daily to different branches in (Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, Westbury, possibly Yonkers)
- Service members in a courteous and efficient manner
- Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments etc. as well as issuing teller checks and money orders
- Opens and closes his/her teller box; responsible for maintaining a balanced cash drawer
- Establishes and maintains relationships with members while adhering to high service standards
- Cross-sell credit union products to all members
Presently seeking full time: Must be able to work 40-hours/week. Applicant must have availability Monday through Friday with some Saturdays and a flexible schedule. Overtime as needed to assist with branch needs.
Salary: $17.50 per hour
