Officer (Audit Department) – Mid Level (35 views)

Takaful Islami Insurance Limited invites application from experienced and competent individuals to fill in the position.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

  1. Compliance Checking – Policies and Operational Control
  2. Carry out audit, spot check & investigations as per the annual plan and as per management’s instruction to ensure that organization resources are safeguarded
  3. Ensure that TIIL follows TIIL policies and procedures and complies with rules & regulations. 
  4. Visit Branch Officesto ascertain uniformity and reliability of their systems and controls.
  5. Provide management with information on the adequacy of internal control, policies and procedures
  6. Analyze work process flows, recommend improvements and highlight redundancies within the system.
  7. Perform physical checking to ensure that all mission generated policies and procedures are followed and in compliance.
  8. Assist management in performing regular surprise and planned checks on all mission departments to ensure policy compliance.
  9. Perform quarterly procurement spot check.
  10. Ensure compliance with the relevant laws and company’s policies.
  11. Lead Financial Closing & control over Intercompany transaction.
  12. Lead to meet the requirement of Statutory Audit, Tax & VAT Audit.
  13. Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT systems (ERP).

Additional Requirement

   • Comprehensive knowledge Insurance rules & regulation.

   • Sound knowledge on MS Package- Word, Excel, Power Point etc.

   • Excellent communication skills.

    • Ability to deal and work in a diverse team.

Education

The candidate should have –

  1. Bachelors / Masters in Accounting.
  2. CA course completed.

Experience

  • At least 3 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Insurance

Additional Requirements

    1. Minimum 03 years working experience in Audit Department.
    2. Working Experience in Non-life Insurance Company will be preferred.
    3. Comprehensive knowledge Insurance rules & regulation.
    4. Sound knowledge on MS Package- Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
    5. Excellent communication skills.
    6. Ability to deal and work in a diverse team.
