Banks and Insurance Jobs is looking for a Staff Software Engineer (gn) Cloud and Systems Integration on behave of our client.
 
 

Requirements

▪ You are a highly creative problem solver with a hands-on attitude, looking at problems from the customer’s perspective.
▪ You are comfortable talking to customers and understanding their technical requirements and limitations.

▪ You are a skilled communicator and comfortable in using English and ideally also German to talk about technical subjects. You happily share knowledge, and you are patient about it.

▪ You have hands-on experience in getting services deployed in Kubernetes environments, both in the cloud and on-prem.

▪ You understand the Azure ecosystem and have a working knowledge of Ansible, Terraform and/or related tools.

▪ Service-oriented architectures are more than a buzzword for you, and you are able to talk about them, considering aspects like granularity, orchestration, or security.

▪ You understand and can explain how authentication and authorization are implemented.

You are awesome if ..

▪ You have experience with AI offerings from OpenAI and Microsoft, Amazon, or Google.

▪ You have worked on a software development kit or similar before and understand how to make functionality accessible to developers.

▪ You understand the operational implications of delivering and supporting a platform.

▪ You have deep knowledge of the internals of Linux based operating systems.
 
 
Tasks & Responsibilities

Here at Wandelbots we want to accelerate the development of robotic applications. For that, we are looking for your help in building crucial parts of our platform.
You will be working on a highly complex landscape of components, which stretches from cloud services via edge computing down to local systems at various customers. Services need to be deployed but also integrated and protected. Services need to be secured using modern identity management approaches, and our software engineers have to be guided on how to do that correctly.

Our customers will create own applications that have to be distributed.

For that, you will work with the product manager and the team to translate product requirements into implementable designs and actionable tasks. You’ll then work on implementing them, spreading knowledge along the way. Documenting and presenting outcomes together with the team and helping the team’s customers rounds off your duties.
